UPDATE

New LTC Curriculum Classes will hopefully resume April 14, 2026.

!!!! UPDATE !!!!

Greetings, Everyone!

So the wait continues. We have SOME of the courses approved but not all. With that being said, both Instructors are and will be able to teach the course and conduct live fire. We are now waiting on the Instructor Portal to be up and running so we can digitally enter the results of each student into the portal along with their certificate. Students will need to, create an account in Gun Portal on Mass.gov website. Once your account is created then you uplaod all of your documents. The new curriculm will be 6 hours in duration, and then afterwards is the live-fire for a total of 8 hours. The cost of class has increased due to added cost to provide safe and proper training, along with purchasing weapons, supplying ammunition and targets the cost is now $150 per person. Based on the length of class we have decided to break up the two portions to make it less taxing on everyone. Most likely the classroom portion will be held during the weekday afternoon/evening or Friday evening and Saturday mornings. Range times will most likely be daily weekdays by SCHEDULED time and 8am-10am Saturday mornings. We will provide more information as we receive it.

Testimonials

This class is a must for any beginner or experienced person interested in learning how to defend their home, family, and themselves. The instructors have a wealth of training and experience from both law enforcement and military training. I felt secure and safe throughout the entire class. Overall great class!

-Mr. Keith Wiliams from Easthampton

Alan did a great job helping me with the firearm and making sure I was safe with it. I was uncomfortable at first, but Alan and Lee made sure I was doing everything right and then I felt comfortable with the firearm. Lee did a good job at explaining everything.
